Palmetto Ridge HS is a finalist in the FHSAA Spirit Showdown contest!! SGA created a video and submitted it on behalf of the school (and it is quite impressive!). See video here. The Palmetto Ridge JROTC Drill Team placed first overall in the Collier County Drill Meet on Saturday.Our County Championship JROTC Drill Team will now compete at the Florida State drill competition in April
The wrestling team won the district title with 6 individual district champs along with 11 wrestlers moving on to Regional competition this coming weekend at Charlotte HS.
PRHS Senior Justin Delvasto competed in the ESU Shakespeare Competition in Naples and came in first place. As the competition winner, Justin will go on to compete at the national level in NYC in April.
PRHS Junior Sarah Stanley received Straight Superiors at District Solo and Ensemble! She will be taking her pieces to the State Level
Sierra Brown, PRHS Senior, has been named a Laws of Life finalist for Collier County. Congratulations for her third place in the essay-speech contest!
Booker Tamm (11th gr) received a $4K scholarship from Naples Council on World Affairs to go to Mongolia as part of the Experiment in International Learning program.
Sebastian Mejia (11th gr) was selected by Naples Council of World Affairs for the Summer Hoya Program at Georgetown University.
Jazz Ensemble had their District Jazz MPA (Music Performance Assessment) at FGCU. We are very proud of our students for having a great performance and earning straight superior ratings and elgible to attend the Florida State competitions.
Keri Mulhern, PRHS Senior, won "Best of Show" at the Collier County Regional Science Fair winning a $2500 FGCU scholarship and a trip to the State competition.
Keri's project researched the effect of naturally occurring enzymes in algae and their ability to reverse ocean acidification.
